Emergency Department - Travel RN

Tripod Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting 13-week assignment in Jeffersonville, Indiana. In this role, you will be accountable for the care of a group of patients while delivering safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will focus on quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and evidence-based practice while supporting a collaborative and financially responsible care environment.

As an ED Registered Nurse, you will perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, make sound independent clinical decisions, and develop, prioritize, implement, and revise individualized plans of care as patient needs change. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, utilize resources appropriately, and provide timely emergency nursing interventions while ensuring accurate documentation of patient responses and clinical outcomes.

You will also provide education tailored to patient and family needs throughout treatment and at discharge, promote comfort and satisfaction, and support continuity of care. In addition, you will delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel, serve as a mentor or preceptor when appropriate, and contribute to a positive team environment that encourages communication, teamwork, and professional development.

Applying evidence-based practice and patient-centered care principles, you will participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives, comply with regulatory standards, and support practice changes that enhance patient outcomes.
