JOB SUMMARY (AMBULANCE PARAMEDIC)
- Provide direct patient care within the paramedic scope of practice or under physician supervision, following established protocols.
- Administer emergency medications in compliance with Wyoming State regulations for Paramedics.
- Perform thorough, population-specific patient assessments, establish care priorities, and deliver appropriate care.
- Accurately document patient assessments and treatments using the WATRS reporting system, adhering to Wyoming State statutes.
- Ensure ambulances and stations are maintained, clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times.
- Assist with medical treatment of patients in other departments as requested, under provider and RN direction, within the paramedic scope of practice.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time, personnel, and resources to achieve department goals and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Required: Minimum one year paramedic experience.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT.
- Shift: Varies (all shifts considered).
