Registered Nurse Emergency Room Evenings $53-63/hr

Emergency Room Registered Nurses needed to work 11am-11:30pm for a well-known medical facility near Far Rockaway, NY. Coordinate a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative healthcare in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health. Utilize all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects and understanding of individual, cultural, and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights. Salary depending on education and years of experience. Shift differentials apply.
Responsibilities:
• Able to identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care and include both the patient and family in the plan.
• Sets priorities for the patients’ needs, making decisions which reflect sound judgement.
• Monitor patients’ clinical status and assess for significant changes
• Communicate clearly with patients, family members, physicians, and team members to ensure patient needs are met.
• Safely administer medication on time and in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and stats intravenous lines safely.

Requirements:
• Active RN license
• Bachelor's degree – Nursing
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Minimum two (2) years experience in Emergency Room or Medical/Surgical setting
