Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 4/6/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D (48 Hrs) Pay Rate: $3199.00 - $3397.00

Travel RN PCU jobs in the Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA place you in a dynamic 24-bed intermediate care environment focused on pre- and post-cardiac surgery and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) patients. Norfolk offers vibrant waterfront living, diverse dining, and easy access to beaches and cultural attractions. You will manage patients recovering from cardiac surgery and PCI, titrate drips including vasopressin, nitroglycerin, antiarrhythmics, insulin, and heparin, and work with epicardial pacer boxes, tracheostomies, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomies (PEGs), and chest tubes. The unit emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality care. To qualify, you must have a minimum of 18 months of progressive care unit RN experience within the last 3 years. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), cardiac monitoring, and advanced patient assessment is recommended.
