Registered Nurse – Pediatric Oncology | 13-Week Travel Assignment

Unit Details:

48-bed teaching facility with cardiac and respiratory monitoring available
Level I Trauma Center
Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred

Patient Ratios:

BMT: 1:2
Chemotherapy: 1:3
Maximum ratio of 1:4 based on patient acuity

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience
Minimum 2 years of Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant experience required
Experience with ports and central line access/care required
Prior travel nursing experience required

Certifications Required:

BLS (AHA or ARC)
APHON Chemo/Bio Certification

Preferred Certifications:

CPHON
BMT Certification

Schedule Details:

13-week assignment
Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required (Friday & Saturday nights)
No on-call required
Must work at least 1 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s

Float Requirements:
Candidates must be willing to float to:

Levels 6, 8, 9, 10
CPCU
NICU
North Campus
South Campus

Additional Information:

No holiday RTO requests accepted
No RTO permitted within the first 2 weeks of assignment
Medical or religious flu vaccine exemptions accepted with submission

Start Date: 07/07/2026
End Date: 10/10/2026

Requirements
