Join Us as a Summer Camp Nurse at Granite Lake!

Camp Granite Lake is looking for a healthcare professional to work with our nursing team. They will play a role in overseeing the health and well-being of approximately 150 campers and 70 staff members.
They must be kind, patient, caring, and love working with kids.

This job requires that the Camp Nurse be in residence and on-call during overnights. Shifts are 5 days on and 2 days off. Private accommodations and meals will be provided.

Dates: June 7th - June 27th, optional start date of May 31st.

Key parts of the job are:
- working with our nursing team on medication intake and distribution
- creating a comfortable, nurturing health area for sick or injured campers and staff
- making parent phone calls when applicable
treating a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses
- the ability to be on camp property multiple nights (private housing provided at camp)

- Must possess current RN license
- Ability to pass a Colorado state background check
- Must be fully immunized per Colorado State guidelines, this includes the Covid vaccine
- Comfortable living in a rustic camp setting (WIFI is provided)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Able to manage stress and interpersonal conflict
- Problem solver
- Caring and empathetic
- Experience with pediatrics is a plus!
