$76/hr - Med Surg RN - Nights

JOB SUMMARY (LIST FORMAT):

- Plan and provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary staff while upholding professional nursing standards.
- Work full-time nights: three 12-hour shifts per week (6:00pm – 6:30am), every other weekend, and participate in holiday rotation.
- Specialty area: Med-Surg Adult nursing.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Iowa RN license.
- Hold current BCLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Experience preferred, but not required.
- Maintain compliance with hospital employment and health requirements, including:
- Resume submission
- Two recent employment references
- Online license verification (with expiration and disciplinary history)
- Copies of all required certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
- Up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, COVID-19, Flu)
- Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold TB test
- Recent physical exam (within 1 year)
- 10 Panel Drug Screen (within 1 month)
- Respiratory Fit Test (within 1 year)
- Criminal background check (all states of licensure/residence in past 7 years)
- Sex offender and exclusion list checks (state/national)
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child & Dependent Adult Abuse)
- Completion of required education modules prior to start date
- Hospital employment, pay period runs Monday through Sunday.
- Must meet all pre-employment requirements five business days prior to start date.
 

Shift: Full-time nights. Hours (6:00pm – 6:30am) 3 (12-hour) night shifts per week. Every other weekend. Holiday rotation
