To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, or health care administration, or a master’s in social work. A current California RN or LCSW/LMSW license is required, along with at least 3 years of acute hospital case management or healthcare leadership experience. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is needed. Recommended skills include strong organizational abilities, critical thinking, and excellent communication. Familiarity with InterQual criteria and care coordination is helpful.
