REQUIRED PROCEDURES

* Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.

* Perform emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients.

* Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers.

* Assist in surgery including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues.

* Coordinate care, round, interpret tests, and order tests.

* Write prescriptions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (required)

* Licenses: Active Ohio License (required)

* DEA: Active DEA Certification (required)

* Certifications: ACLS (required)

* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services (required)

* Other Qualifications: Clean background, no malpractice or license issues

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide comprehensive post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients.

* Perform emergency surgery interventions for cardiothoracic and vascular patients.

* Manage consults and referrals from Emergency Department, Cath Lab, and other hospital providers.

* Assist in surgical procedures including vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduits.

* Coordinate patient care, conduct rounding, interpret diagnostic tests, and order necessary tests and medications.
