REQUIRED PROCEDURES

* CABG

* Thoracic surgery

* Vascular surgery

* Removal of Chest Tubes

* Removal of Pulmonary Artery Catheter

* Removal of Epicardial Wires

* Removal of Intra Aortic Balloon Pump

* Vein and Artery Harvesting

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: NCCPA/Board-certified NP

* Licenses: Active Ohio License

* DEA: Active DEA 

* Certifications: ACLS

* Experience: Minimum 1 year surgical experience

* NOTE: WOULD CONSIDER AN NP IF THEY ARE ALSO AN RNFA AND HAVE OPEN HEART SURGICAL EXPERIENCE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries (elective and emergent)

* Perform hospital rounding on surgical patients

* Provide assistance in clinic

* Take night and weekend call

* Perform procedures such as removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheter, epicardial wires, intra aortic balloon pump, and vein/artery harvesting
