RN - Emergency Room

SUMMARY:

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must hold active RN license in practicing state.
* ER or acute care background preferred.
* Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
* BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Patient Care:

* Triage and assess all patients upon arrival.
* Administer medications, treatments, and interventions.
* Monitor patient status and report changes immediately.

* Documentation & Safety:

* Maintain accurate documentation of care and records.
* Communicate changes to physicians and team members.
* Educate patients and families on treatment/followup.
* Participate in ER safety and quality improvement.
