Registered Nurse

"A Registered Nurse opportunity in the Emergency Department is available on nights at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM — a community serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.

The role. This night-shift ED RN position is based in a 48-bed department (with flex space) that operates under a team nursing and pod system, with a social worker and unit educator assigned directly to the department. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. The unit regularly manages complex presentations including trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation cases, with a patient population that commonly includes ESRD, COPD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, and abdominal and chest pain. Nurses work with equipment including Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, QinFlow Blood Warmers, Hospira Plum360 pumps, and ultrasound-guided IV, documenting in Cerner.

What we're looking for.

• RN with an ADN degree
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in emergency nursing
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required
• BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.
