REQUIREMENTS:

* 2+ years of experience
* On call required.
* On call requirements- up to 2 week nights and 2 weekend days of call, 45 min call back time.
* Float to other facilities within the organization when needed.
* Experience- Endoscopy, proficient with the following procedures- colon, egd, ERCP, peg tube, bronch, esophageal stent, and pain procedures. Able to perform moderate sedation, EPIC charting, able to admit and discharge in the perioperative area.
* Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
* Current CPR/BLS Card

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
* Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates an individual plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team.
* Provides explanations and instructions to patient/responsible person.
* Demonstrate ability to use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
* Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills.
* Meets Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
* Participate in continuing education.
* Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
