Join the Heartbeat of Rockford’s GI Care Team!

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy to join our dynamic team in Rockford. This travel/contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a bustling GI Lab, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient care. With a competitive compensation of $2520.00 gross weekly, you’ll be actively engaged in both inpatient and outpatient procedures, handling sedation, scope flow, and ensuring smooth, fast turnovers in our three procedure rooms and four prep/recovery bays.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years of experience, an active IL license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Your hands-on expertise with advanced therapeutic ERCP procedural techniques will be highly valued, along with preferred certifications in conscious sedation training and scope reprocessing. Shifts run from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM, four days a week, with on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule. Active IL license, BLS, ACLS, Advanced therapeutic ERCP procedural experience. - hands on opening, guide wire, and closing
Preferred certifications: conscious sedation training, scope reprocessing training, CGRN
3 procedure rooms and 4 prep/recovery bays
Handle sedation, scope flow and fast turnovers- busy lab
All GI diagnosis: inpatient and outpatient.
Shift: 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM (4- 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday) with on-call requirements for evening, night, weekend, holiday between 7-10 days in a 6 week schedule.
