● Required Licensure & Certifications:
o BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM – certification requirements are the same for any of the above position types
● Skills required:
o Management has approved to accept Postpartum only, L&D or LDRP experience until specified otherwise.
o Labor and Delivery Nurse skills - labor management, circulate cesarean sections, Pre-op, PACU, triage, resuscitation of newborns, Pitocin management, epidural management
o Ability and willingness to work LDRP setting
● Support within the Department:
o Scrub tech: set up delivery trays, assist with sections, stock OR, Clean OR, help with charges, equipment cleaning, newborn baths
o Receptionist/HUC? No
o Charge nurse? Yes
o Phlebotomy: Nurses as well as lab draw blood
o IV/VAT Team? NA

o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
o RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
o Shift times: 0700-1900, and 1900-0700
o Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
