Join Our Fertility Team: Certified Nursing Assistant Wanted!

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our growing Littleton practice! This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional weekends.

The Medical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
Follow proper protocols for all procedures
Practice phlebotomy
Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
Phlebotomy Program – preferred

Position Requirements/Experience:

6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
1-2 years of phlebotomy experience - required
Sterile surgical setting experience - preferred
Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
EMR experience - preferred
