Adelphi is seeking Remote Transcriptionists to provide transcription services supporting schools and educational programs in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidates will accurately convert recorded or live audio into clear, properly formatted written documents while maintaining strict confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous professional transcription experience

• Strong listening, grammar, spelling, proofreading, and typing skills

• Ability to accurately identify speakers and understand educational terminology

• Reliable computer, secure internet connection, and appropriate transcription equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transcribe recorded meetings, interviews, presentations, reports, and other educational content.

• Identify speakers and include timestamps or other formatting when requested.

• Review and proofread completed transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.

• Follow District templates, formatting standards, and submission procedures.

• Complete assignments within established turnaround times.

• Securely receive, store, transmit, and delete audio files and completed transcripts.

• Maintain FERPA-compliant confidentiality of student and District information.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
