Adelphi is seeking Assistive Technology Specialists to provide services to students at schools in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidates will deliver specialized technology evaluations and supports to enhance students’ access to curriculum and instructional materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Training/certification in Assistive Technology (e.g., RESNA ATP preferred)

• Experience with AT tools and educational software

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive assistive technology (AT) evaluations and coordinate structured device trials to determine appropriate supports.

• Recommend and implement technology solutions that enhance student access to curriculum and IEP goals.

• Provide training and ongoing technical support to staff, students, and families on effective device use.

• Monitor effectiveness of AT interventions and adjust supports based on data and student performance.

• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, recommendations, implementation, and outcomes in compliance with district and IDEA requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
