Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient post-operative care coverage. This role focuses exclusively on floor patient management with no operating room responsibilities. The provider will work closely with surgical teams to manage recovery, monitor progress, and support safe, efficient patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
Manage post-operative patients on the inpatient floor
Conduct daily rounding, assessments, and documentation
Monitor patient recovery and identify complications
Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Coordinate care plans, discharges, and follow-up needs
Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation

Requirements
Active Maryland PA license
Board Certified
Experience in hospitalist, cardiovascular, or cardiothoracic surgery settings preferred
ACLS and BLS certifications required
DEA and CSR required
Comfortable managing post-op patients independently

Drive-in candidates only (must have reliable personal transportation)
Consistent weekly schedule with flexibility across weekdays and weekends
