What You Will Do:

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies
Assess residents' conditions and recognize changes in health status
Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to plan and evaluate care
Monitor resident progress and document pertinent observations
Delegate appropriate care tasks to other staff
Collaborate with CNAs, Nurses, and leadership
Build meaningful relationships with residents while providing person-centered care
Training and Support

New to intellectual and developmental disability nursing? That's okay. Misericordia provides ongoing training and professional development in ID/DD care and person-centered practices.Previous experience in I/DD nursing is not required.

Qualifications RN/ADN

Associate's degree in Nursing or official transcripts
Current Illinois RN license
Good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
Current BLS certification
BSN

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or official transcripts
Current Illinois RN license
Good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
Current BLS certification
Schedule

Full-Time: 40 hours per week

Part-Time: 32 hours per week

Residential Settings

Day: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
PM: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
Overnight: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Skilled Nursing Residence

Day: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
PM: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
Overnight: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Pay

New Graduate Starting Rates

ADN/RN: $36.50/hour
BSN: $37.50/hour
Hourly Pay Range: $36.50-$48.00/hour

The hourly rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise, years of experience, and other factors.

Shift Differentials

AM weekend: +$3/hour
PM/Overnight Monday-Friday: +$3/hour
PM/Overnight weekends: +$4/hour
