Director of Nursing
Lead With Purpose and Make a Difference Every Day
What if your leadership could shape the health, safety, and quality of life of hundreds of people every day?
At Misericordia, the Director of Nursing does much more than manage a department. You lead and develop a team of nurses, build strong relationships with residents, families, and guardians, and help ensure the people we serve receive high-quality, respectful, and individualized care.
As a Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Nursing, the Vice President of Clinical Services, and teams across Misericordia. You will support our nurses so they are on-boarded, thoroughly trained, engaged, and developed to their full potential. You will also help uphold the values of our Community of Believers: quality of life, responsibility, connection, and spirituality.
Experienced nursing leaders are welcome. A valid Illinois RN license and previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities are required.
