REQUIREMENTS:

* BLS - Basic Life Support - Within 1 month of hire or transfer [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
* NBCOT - NB Certification in Occ Therapy [REQUIRED]
* OTR - Occupational Therapist [REQUIRED]
* Bachelors Degree [REQUIRED]
* More than 1 year of experience preferred but would be willing for new grad. [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
* Outpatient Experience preferred [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
* Successful completion of MyMichigan Health and affiliate specific orientation. Successful completion of new hire competency.
* Interpersonal skills needed for effective verbal and written communication in the English language to interact with people individually and in a group at all levels.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating problem solving and organizational skills, time management skills and initiative.
* Mandatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is required and must be completed annually according to the Exposure Control Plan.
* Ability to work where employee may be exposed to communicable diseases. Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly.
* Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to demonstrate and teach selected treatment routines to appropriate professional and non-professional individuals.
* AOTA membership preferred. [PREFERRED]
