As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will triage patients, stabilize critical conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide timely interventions. You must have an active Illinois RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and at least 1-2 years of recent high-acuity ER experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are often preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong critical thinking skills are recommended.
