JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Nurse Reviewer supports regulatory compliance and survey readiness by conducting medical record reviews and analyzing quality data. This role collaborates with leadership and clinical teams to ensure adherence to standards set by The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies. The RN also supports quality improvement initiatives, risk management activities, and process improvements to enhance patient care and safety.
Position is on-site in Gillette, Wyoming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Conduct concurrent and retrospective medical record reviews
-Analyze and report quality data for regulatory compliance
-Support survey readiness and implementation of regulatory standards
-Assist with incident reporting, follow-up, and event analysis (RCA, FMEA)
-Collaborate with leaders on quality improvement and risk management initiatives
-Facilitate provider evaluations (OPPE/FPPE) and reporting
-Partner with IT and vendors to ensure accurate data capture -and reporting
-Maintain policies, procedures, and compliance standards
-Participate in committees and quality programs
QUALIFICATIONS
-Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-Active Wyoming RN license, or eligible to be licensed
-Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
-BLS/CPR certification required
