Staff Pharmacist Opportunity in Lancaster, OH | Competitive Pay

Position: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Every 6th Weekend Required

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Lancaster, OH. This role is ideal for pharmacists with hospital experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Review, interpret, validate, and dispense medication orders accurately
Monitor patient medication therapy for safety and effectiveness
Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff, patients, and families
Participate in emergency medication management and response
Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Coordinate pharmacy technician activities and daily workflow
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements:

Active Ohio Pharmacy License required
Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required
Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
Assignment Details:

36 guaranteed hours per week
Day shift schedule
Weekly Gross Pay (W2): Up to $2,880
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,638
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,242
1099 Weekly Pay: Up to $3,060
1099 Hourly Rate: $85/hr

Active Ohio Pharmacy License required
Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required
Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
