Join a collaborative, high-performing Labor & Delivery team delivering safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns. You’ll support patients across intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum, circulate in the L&D OR, and partner closely with obstetrics, anesthesia, pediatrics, and NICU teams to ensure excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide evidence-based intrapartum and antepartum nursing care
-Circulate in L&D OR and recover patients in PACU as needed
-Triage, assess, and respond to emergent OB presentations
-Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status; escalate per protocol
-Administer medications and manage inductions/augmentations per orders
-Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and support seamless handoffs
-Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
-Document accurately in the EHR and follow unit policies and safety standards

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AAP) upon hire
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of independent hospital L&D experience (Intrapartum, Antepartum, and L&D OR)
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification in specialty (e.g., RNC-OB) preferred
- Completed AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (required per screening)
