CO - Surg Tech - Days

Job Responsibilities
✓ Assist during surgical procedures and maintain the integrity of the sterile surgical field.
✓ Prepare, check, and provide surgical instruments and equipment as needed.
✓ Apply sterile and aseptic techniques with knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures.
✓ Monitor the sterile field and take corrective action when contamination occurs.
✓ Assist with patient transport, room preparation, and OR turnovers.
✓ Participate in surgical Time Out, Briefing, and Debriefing processes.
✓ Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
✓ Ensure supplies, equipment, packaging, and sterile indicators meet safety standards.
✓ Maintain effective communication and professional behavior with the perioperative team.
✓ Follow AORN standards, patient-safety practices, HIPAA requirements, and Just Culture principles.

Required Qualifications & Certifications
✓ Active Colorado Surgical Technologist License – Mandatory
✓ BLS through American Heart Association – Mandatory
✓ Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience –


Schedule Requirements
✓ Day Shift
✓ 3x12-hour shifts/week
✓ 32 guaranteed hours/week
✓ 13-week contract
✓ Quick Start / ASAP

✓ Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist – Required
✓ Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech experience –

Required
✓ EPIC experience preferred
✓ Must be proficient in English communication, reading, and writing
