Responsible for both Utilization Management (UR) and Discharge Planning across all areas of the hospital. Typical caseload is approximately 15–20 patients/consults per day. Duties include completing initial assessments, InterQual reviews, discharge planning, working with all payers including uninsured and homeless patients, and coordinating care using Cerner. Successful candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration, teamwork, communication, and the ability to reprioritize throughout the day.

BLS required. Experience with InterQual criteria is preferred/required for the role, although the facility will provide training in InterQual. Candidates must be comfortable with Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, initial assessments, payer coordination, Cerner, collaboration, teamwork, effective communication, and reprioritization. Business casual attire.
