Your responsibilities include passing instruments, counting sponges and needles, collecting specimens, and applying dressings. After surgery, you will help transfer patients and clean the OR for the next case. To qualify, you must complete a surgical technology program, earning a diploma, certificate, or associate degree, and have experience in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
