Nurse Manager – Emergency Department / Acute Care

💰 Weekly Pay: $3,335.00
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead operations within the Emergency Department and Fast Track. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care, driving departmental performance, and leading a team of clinical professionals in alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department and Fast Track
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff through scheduling, training, performance management, and coaching
Manage departmental budgets, forecast staffing/resource needs, and drive operational efficiency
Collaborate with providers to optimize patient care delivery and improve outcomes
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and emergency care best practices
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and leadership committees
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
5+ years as an RN with emergency care experience
3+ years in a nursing leadership role
Flight, paramedic, or grant experience (preferred)


Licensure/Certifications:
Alaska RN License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within one year)
