🏥 Position Overview

Role: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Kotzebue, Alaska (Above the Arctic Circle)

Facility Type: Native/Tribal Health Facility

Contract: 13 weeks with extension opportunities

Schedule: Rotating shifts available

Start Date: ASAP openings

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population

Stabilize, triage, and treat patients with varying acuity

Work closely with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams

Deliver culturally sensitive care to the Inupiat community

Adapt and thrive in a rural ER where every skill matters

✅ Requirements

Active RN License (ALASKA license required)

1–2 years of recent ER experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS required

TNCC preferred

Strong critical thinking and independence in a rural setting
