Matrix Providers is hiring a Physician Extender - Family Health to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

Employment Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday 0730-1630. The schedule is maintained by clinic personnel based on demands of the clinic and appointments booked that day.

Physician Extender - Family Health must have and meet the following:

Labor Category: Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice

• Degree/Education Successfully completed Master of Science in Nursing degree program with specialization as a family nurse practitioner accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education. •

Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Exhibit 5.

• Experience: Have actively practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in training for 24 months within the last 36 months and are able to demonstrate current clinical competency. Current clinical competency is verifiable by clinical activity logs submitted by the previous medical institutions.

• Board Certification: • Licensure/Registration: Must possess and maintain an active, current, valid and unrestricted RN license as well being licensed to the Advanced Practice level IAW the US jurisdiction (fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands)requirements of their currently held RN license to practice independently within the defined scope of practice.
