REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program and possesses a current ORT cert
* Current OR experience is essential
* BCLS required
* Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff and sales and repair reps
* 2+ years of experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe, sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
* This includes gathering of all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets.
* The employee must be conscientious with regards to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department.
* They must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
