Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Travel - (Surg Tech - OR)
StartDate: 7/20/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D (48 Hrs) Pay Rate: $2460.00 - $2612.00
26 bed OR with multiple specialties including: General, Pediatrics, Open Vascular and Endovascular, Neuro, ENT, DaVinci Robotics, Ortho trauma, Ortho Joints, Plastics, Dental, GU and GYN. Coastal Maine location about 2 hours north of Boston. Travel Operating Room Nurse and Surgical Tech assignments in Portland, ME place you in a state-of-the-art surgical department at the facility, a 929-bed academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center. The hospital is Magnet-recognized for nursing excellence and offers advanced surgical services, serving patients from across Northern New England. You will assist with a variety of surgical procedures, maintain sterile technique, and document care using EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required Qualifications
Surgical Technologist, OR, Neurosurgery
Experience: 2 years
Certifications: CERT-NBSTSA- CST(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
On Call: 50-150 hours of Neuro Team Call per 8 week schedule

References: 2 References in entire work history Minimum 2 years Level 1 Trauma center experience including 3 years experience scrubbing Neuro. Proficient with Stryker instruments, Airo CT navigation, O-arm Navigation, Complex spine deformity cases, brain surgery including MVM, brain aneurysm. Proficient with Robotics Proof of Flu Vaccination Required 36 or 48hrs/week, RNs choice. Option for 26 week contract.
