Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Night Shift

QPCS is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care at Southwestern Veterans’ Center.

Position Details

Location: Southwestern Veterans’ Center, 7060 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206
Department: Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
Level: Expert
Shift: 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.

Pay Options

Tier 1 – Benefits-Eligible W-2:** $25.00 per hour
Tier 2 – Non-Benefits-Eligible W-2:** $29.00 per hour
1099 Independent Contractor:** $32.00 per hour

**Important 1099 Notice:** Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable obligations.

Role and Requirements

Assist residents with daily living, meals, mobility, transfers, positioning, and personal care. Obtain and document assigned health information, report changes to licensed nursing staff, and maintain residents’ dignity, comfort, privacy, and safety.

Candidates must have:

- Current CNA certification and active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry status.
- Strong observation, communication, documentation, and resident-care skills.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to safely provide compassionate care to geriatric and disabled residents during the night shift.
