Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Expert Level

Quality Patient Centered Services LLC (QPCS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential resident care at Southwestern Veterans’ Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Shift: 10:00 p.m.–06:30 a.m.

Compensation Options

Tier 1 – Benefits-Eligible W-2: $25 per hour
Tier 2 – Non-Benefits-Eligible W-2: $29 per hour
1099 Independent Contractor: $32 per hour
Important 1099 Notice: Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable obligations.

Expert Level CNA Opportunity

The successful Certified Nursing Assistant will be an experienced caregiver who can perform assigned responsibilities independently, respond appropriately to residents’ needs, and serve as a knowledgeable resource within the CNA scope of practice.

Key CNA Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, and other activities of daily living.
Measure and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, and other assigned health information.
Observe residents and promptly report physical, emotional, cognitive, or behavioral changes to licensed nursing staff.
Follow individualized care plans and assist nurses with approved treatments and resident-care activities.
Support restorative care, safe transfers, positioning, and mobility while helping residents maintain their highest possible level of independence.
Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
Follow all infection-control, resident-safety, documentation, and facility requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

Current CNA certification and active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry status.
Direct-care experience in a veterans’ home, long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or similar setting is preferred.
Ability to provide compassionate care to geriatric and disabled residents.
Strong observation, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform approved CNA duties safely and within the authorized scope of practice.
Dependable attendance and availability for the 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. shift.
