Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room - Travel - (Cardiac - OR - CVOR RN)
StartDate: 3/9/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2590.00 - $2750.00

Iowa Methodist Medical Center was established in 1901 in a single building. Today, Iowa Methodist has become an important regional medical center and teaching hospital. Located in downtown Des Moines on a 42-acre campus, Iowa Methodist employs nearly 4,000 people and has 370 staffed beds. Iowa Methodist is well known throughout the Midwest for cancer care. Iowa Methodist is one of two Level I Trauma Centers in the state of Iowa. Life Flight, the air ambulance program for Iowa Methodist, began in 1979 and continues to fly hundreds of vital missions per year. 16 OR's 1,050 cases/month Variety of cases, Level I Trauma Ctr All specialties Open Heart, Kidney Transplant, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Pediatrics, Plastics, Urology, Vascular, Gynecology, Oncology

Registered Nurse, CVOR

Interview: VA Auto Offer, offers to be accepted or declined within 48 hours or they will be rescinded
Must have License/Cert
Holiday RTO 1 day total between 11/27-12/1; 12/23-1/2 -- Must work 2/3 holidays
Flu and COVID vaccine required, medical or religious exceptions are accepted --
Float Requirement: as needed in skillset --
EMR: Epic exp required --
Must have one successful 13-week assignment
