Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

As a Progressive Care Unit nurse, you must have at least 18 months of PCU or Stepdown experience within the last 3 years and hold an active RN license. You’ll work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5 and may float to Telemetry or MedSurg units with ratios of 1:6-7. You’ll care for patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, renal failure, stroke, pneumonia, wounds, and alcohol-related conditions. Skills in BIPAP, nurse-driven diuretic protocols, peritoneal dialysis, and IV Glucommander are required. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is recommended.
