Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 3/30/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2176.00 - $2311.00

Travel Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN jobs in Urbana, IL give you the opportunity to care for patients who are critically ill but do not require intensive care. In this role, you monitor patients with complex conditions such as heart failure or pneumonia and collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans. You must hold a current RN license and have at least an associate degree in nursing, though many employers prefer a bachelor’s degree. Experience in acute care and the ability to recognize changes in patient condition quickly are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients and families are also important. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is often required.
