Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Charles County, Maryland #BD-409-03

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking licensed clinical social workers to provide behavioral health support for students within schools in Charles County, Maryland. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy, staff consultation and staff training.

Requirements:
• Have a master's degree or higher in social work
• Relevant state of Maryland certification
• Experience in an educational environment or setting
• Strong foundational understanding of behavior analytic principles
• Have experience working with children/adolescents and families

Responsibilities:
• Maintain records and files to the highest standard and make and keep clear and concise note
• Provide oversight, directing and instructing other professionals while maintaining confidentiality
• Provide Individual and/or group counseling - preferably in-person services
• Offer family communication and support as needed
• Offer staff training on relevant mental health issues, including trauma-informed care, understanding behavioral health concerns of youth
• Conduct parent workshops in the evening
• Offer staff consultation and attendance at relevant school meetings involving students under their care
• Consultation with school staff and parents
• Perform other duties as assigned
