Put your nursing expertise to work in a challenging and meaningful environment! Quality Patient Centered Services LLC (QPCS) is seeking an experienced Correctional Registered Nurse (RN) to provide healthcare services at SCI Mahanoy.

Schedule
- Primary shift: 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
- Possible night coverage: 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m.
The number of weekly shifts will depend on facility needs and shift availability.
Pay Options
- Tier 2 – Non-Benefits-Eligible W-2: $52 per hour
- 1099 Independent Contractor: $54 per hour
Important 1099 Notice: Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable obligations.
What You’ll Do
- Assess patients, administer medications and treatments, and respond to urgent healthcare needs.
- Monitor and document physical, mental-health, and behavioral changes in electronic medical records.
- Coordinate care while maintaining nursing, infection-control, confidentiality, safety, and correctional-security standards.
What You’ll Need
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
- At least one year of psychiatric/behavioral-health or correctional nursing experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and electronic medical records skills, with the ability to work independently and complete all required screenings, credentialing, security procedures, and training.
