Position Overview
Seeking experienced RNs to provide inpatient pediatric and med-surg care, including adult and pediatric populations.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pediatric and med-surg care
- Manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and IV therapy
- Respond to emergencies (Code Blue/RRT)
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation
- Float to other departments as needed
Key Personnel Qualifications (MANDATORY)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Pediatric AND Med-Surg experience required
Licensure
- Active, unrestricted RN license (U.S.)
Certifications
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- ACLS
Clinical Competencies
- Medication administration
- IV therapy and venipuncture
- Infection control
- Patient safety and restraints
- Pediatric and med-surg competencies
Health Requirements
- MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening
- Influenza vaccination
Additional Requirements
- Background check required
- Cultural awareness required
- Basic computer/EHR skills
- Must complete IHS orientation
