Registered Nurse – Psychiatric - Travel - (Psych RN)
StartDate: 4/13/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2005.00 - $2129.00

Denver Cares Clinic specializes in addiction, substance abuse, and psychiatric care, with a focus on non-medical interventions. Travel Registered Nurse (RN) jobs are available in the Denver CARES Detox Psychiatric unit at the facility in Denver, CO. You will provide care for adults withdrawing from substances and seeking therapeutic, residential treatment in a supportive, 24/7 environment. To qualify, you must have a current Colorado RN license and completion of a nursing education program that meets state requirements. Recent experience in detox, psychiatric, or behavioral health settings is required. Skills in therapeutic communication, patient assessment, and crisis intervention are essential. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Recommended experience includes working with substance use disorders, applying verbal de-escalation techniques, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with withdrawal management and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) services is beneficial1.
