The Nurse & Medical Records Review Coordinator is responsible for reviewing all medical information of
participants before program dates, ensuring that on-campus staff are informed of any exceptional
circumstances or medical concerns by documenting them. This role also involves verifying that all
participants meet the immunization requirements of the program, reaching out to those who do not for
follow-up, and maintaining a list of individuals requiring DTaP immunizations upon arrival. Additionally,
the Nurse will provide training, either in person or virtually, to on-campus staff to ensure they are
prepared to support participants' health and safety needs. They will also support students confidentially
through mental health or wellness concerns. We are looking for an RN or LPN licensed in New York who
is available to live on campus. The Nurse will be on and in an on-campus off-space during the hours
of 2pm-10pm and being on call throughout the evening.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in a medical field and possess experience
managing medical records and immunization requirements specific to the state. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in emergency medical training,
including CPR, choking treatments, and medical condition triage, ensuring they are well-equipped to
handle urgent health concerns and support the well-being of all program participants.
