We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role.
Methodist’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers a challenging, yet supportive work environment. Currently the NICU is located at the new state of the art Maternity Center at Riley Children's Health. This new unit will remain a level 3 NICU with 45 private rooms. We are currently seeking motivated, hardworking nurses who have a passion for critical care to join our team!
Rotating Schedule (6 weeks days/6 weeks nights per schedule).

Shift: Full-time, Rotating
Nursing skills gained on this unit:
Leveling during orientation and beyond
Critical Care Assessment Skills
NRP Credentialing
Training on developmental care, neuroprotective care, and cue based feedings
Unit Successes/Designations:
Predominantly Level 3 NICU with some Level 4.
Affiliated with level 4 Maternity Center- Stork team attends all high-risk deliveries.
Stork Team (designated delivery team) Opportunity after 2 years NICU experience.
Paid RNC Credentialing.
Many different unit based committee’s: developmental care, bereavement, employee engagement, culture club, PPC, etc.
Small Baby Unit Credentialing available
Unit Culture Highlights:
On site Nurse Professional Developmental Specialist
Two Managers and 4 Shift Coordinators for support
10-week leveled orientation with 1:1 preceptorship
Daily huddles
Clinical advisors staffed daily for support
On site/unit based NICU Nest and Child Life Specialist
On site Ronald McDonald House
Predominantly Level 3 NICU with some Level 4.

Qualifications
Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Qualifications
