Job Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures according to departmental protocols
• Position patients and operate CT equipment safely and effectively
• Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as required
• Review images for diagnostic quality before patient release
• Follow radiation safety standards and dose optimization practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Utilize PACS and RIS systems for image management
• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during imaging procedures
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and patient care needs
• Ensure compliance with hospital, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards
Required Skills:
• Strong CT Imaging experience
• Patient positioning and radiation protection knowledge
• Contrast administration and venipuncture competency
• PACS/RIS workflow experience
• Quality Control and equipment operation knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and teamwork abilities
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (R) – Radiography Certification
• ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience required
• CT experience preferred
