Job Title:  Travel CT Technologist (Allied)

Job Type: [Contract : 13 weeks]

Core Responsibilities
Patient Preparation: Explaining the scanning procedure to patients to reduce anxiety, reviewing medical history, and checking for allergies to contrast agents.
Positioning & Scanning: Precisely positioning patients on the scanning table and adjusting equipment parameters to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
Contrast Administration: Administering radiocontrast agents orally or intravenously to enhance the visibility of internal structures, while monitoring for adverse reactions.
Safety & Compliance: Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols (such as ALARA—As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and ensuring all infection control guidelines are followed.
Image Quality Assurance: Reviewing and analyzing captured scans for clarity and technical accuracy before transmitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
Equipment Maintenance: Performing regular calibration, warm-up sequences, and troubleshooting to keep scanning equipment in optimal working order

Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
Certification: National certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and a secondary specialty in Computed Tomography is standard.
Valid state license to practice.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications
