* Case Mix: Psychotic disorders, Substance-related, Anxiety, Personality, Delirium, Dementia, Cognitive disorders, etc.

* No. of Beds in Department: 36 (28 adult, 8 adolescent)

* Trauma Level: Level III

* EMR System: Cerner (migrating to EPIC Sep 2026)

* Specialty Backup Available: Psychiatry (supervising physicians present)

* Support Staff Available: RNs, Behavioral Health Techs, Recreational Therapists, Social Workers, UM Nurse, Discharge Planners

* Credentialing Timeline: 30-90 days

* Licenses: Active IA license - REQUIRED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders

* Perform admission histories, psychiatric assessments, and physicals

* Conduct rounds on inpatient behavioral health units

* Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications

* Coordinate care with psychiatrists, social workers, and other staff
