JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Board Certified (PA-C) – REQUIRED
* Licenses: Active Iowa PA license (or ability to obtain; new license processed in 4–6 weeks)
* Certifications: ACLS, BLS – REQUIRED
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience – REQUIRED
* Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background history; NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days; Availability to cover listed dates

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide outpatient clinic services, including preoperative evaluations and postoperative follow-ups.
* First-assist in cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG procedures.
* Perform endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH).
* Cover overnight and weekend call, responding to inpatient consults and urgent surgical needs.
* Collaborate with the cardiothoracic surgery team to deliver comprehensive patient care management.
