Travel X-ray Technologist

Seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our clients medical team, responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Prepare patients for radiological procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and reducing anxieties.
Positioning & Imaging: Position patients and equipment to capture required diagnostic images, adjusting immobilization devices as needed.
Equipment Operation: Operate, maintain, and calibrate X-ray equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety protocols, using shielding and protective devices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and documentation within the Radiology Information System (RIS) or EMR.
Teamwork: Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

Certification: Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Licensure: Active State license.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience and comfort working with c-arms (OEC 9900s) in the OR
2-3 years experience, BLS
